Covered New York Jets training camp at Hofstra University

Thursday night, I had the opportunity to cover New York Jets training camp with 1240AM-WGBB and It was the Jets first trip back to Hofstra since 2010. Check out my piece on the night, featuring quotes from head coach Rex Ryan and offensive lineman and Hofstra alum Willie Colon.

Jets Proud of their Hofstra Tradition

Covering Mets-Twins at Tradition Field

Covering Mets-Twins at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie for AM1240-WGBB and 80 degrees and sunny. Absolutely gorgeous day for baseball.

Dillon Gee started for the Mets going 3+ innings, giving up five hits, no runs, while striking out three.  Chris Young hit a home run in the first inning for the Mets.  Daniel Murphy had a sacrifice fly to drive in a run, and Josh Satin had a RBI single.  The Mets and Twins finished in a 3-3 tie in front of 5,505 fans at Tradition Field.

Sanchez Days in New York are Over

Here’s my article on Mark Sanchez’s days with the Jets being over.  Monday night in Tennessee was the last time he will take a snap with Gang Green. The Jets will look to trade him this offseason.  Also, Tim Tebow will be elsewhere next season as he would like to be traded.  Is Michael Vick going to be the next Jets QB?

Matt Harvey Feature Story

Matt Harvey Feature Story

I covered the Mets-Nationals game at Citi Field on September 12th with SportsRadioNY and AM1240-WGBB.  Matt Harvey took the hill for the Mets in his second to last start of the season.  This is the feature story I did on Harvey featuring Terry Collins’ post-game comments on the Mets young pitching phenom.
