About Jake

It’s been a hell of a journey so far in the world of sports media. There’s been a lot of ups and downs mixed in, but I’m blessed right now to be doing what I love. I’m currently the Executive Producer of all Sports Podcasts with the New York Post. I’m also the co-host of our Mets podcast “Amazin’ But True” with former Mets pitcher and Emmy-Award winner Nelson Figueroa.

I host The Life: New York podcast on the Bleav Podcast Network. The show details life in the greatest city in the world, from the misery of the sports teams we love to the dating disasters, the food and all the stories. I’m joined every week by a wide variety of special guests in sports, entertainment and lifestyle.

Prior to joining Bleav in 2019, I hosted various shows on CBS Radio’s Play.it and Radio.com podcast networks from 2014-2018. In that time, my shows; Brown & Troupe, Brown & Scoop and The Jake Brown Show, all gained national attention, featuring episodes and interviews picked up by almost every media outlet. (ESPN, TMZ, FOX, CBS, CNN, Entertainment Tonight, Politico, USA Today and more)

I hosted sports talk radio shows on AM1240-WGBB in Long Island from 2012-2016. The first show was called “The 5th Quarter in New York Sports” and then it would become SportsTalk1240. I hosted a year of a weekly show on ESPN Radio New Hampshire from 2013-2014, titled “The Weekend With Jake & Drew.” I’ve been a guest on several national radio shows and podcasts around the country, including SiriusXM, CBS Sports Radio, 104.3 The Fan in Denver, VSiN, CBS Radio podcasts, 1010 XL in Jacksonville, That’s Gold with Steve Hytner and many more.
