On Episode 6 of Bawls Deep with me and Constantine Maroulis, we are joined by former two-time Giants Super Bowl champion kicker Lawrence Tynes on the first half of the show. The former Chiefs and Giants kicker talks about his career, sending Big Blue to the Super Bowl, how cold it was in Green Bay that night, Cody Parkey’s missed kick for the Bears and texting with him after it happened, special teams, previewing the AFC and NFC Championship, him seeing Connie in Rock of Ages, and much more.
In the second half of the podcast, we open by singing “Gase’s Eyes,” a remix to the Hall & Oates classic, “Private Eyes.” I wrote it about new Jets head coach Adam Gase and his crazy eyes, and Connie joins me for a fun duet. We also talk about the hire, the Jets & Giants offseason ahead, our predictions for the NFL Championship Sunday games, the Yankees offseason, I go off on the MTV True Life shows, Connie gives out his Netflix picks for the week, and then we debut “Karaoke Connie” as my co-host sings “Shallow” from A Star is Born.
