With The Jake Brown Show now over, my search for a new show is in full effect. I’m stoked to be teaming up with Constantine Maroulis. He has co-hosted a few shows with me and we have some tremendous chemistry and have a lot in common, despite our 15-year age gap, which he hates that I always bring up.

If you don’t know, Maroulis was a Tony-nominated broadway star in Rock of Ages. He gained recognition at first from American Idol, where he finished in the top six in season four, which was eventually won by Carrie Underwood. After Idol, Maroulis took his talents to broadway, while also putting together new music. Many people know “Connie,” which I learned was his nickname, but he also loves sports and is a big Yankees, Giants fan.

Both of us have a strong passion for sports…but we also love music, broadway, musicals, women, food, New York, and all the things that we should love in life. We are passionate when we debate sports, whether it’s Yankees vs. Mets, Giants vs. Jets, basketball, sports talk radio, Mike Francesa, etc. We can talk about this stuff for hours, and now we search for the platform to do it on. We’re going to blend sports, entertainment, and lifestyle, and interview guests from all these fields. Expect debate, banter, big guests, callers, and new segments every week.

Enjoy the demo tape I put together and buckle up for a new show coming soon. We are in the process of pitching the show now to various networks, and hope to be on the airwaves sometime in the coming months. Our goal is to make this a show for not just the huge sports fan, but the casual fan, who also loves music, food, women, and the finer things in life.

Any idea with names would also help as we have many different ones on the table. (Brown and Maroulis, Connie and Jake, Maroulis and The Baldy, Maroulis and the Snake, Jake and The Greek)
