11/10/2013 – The 5th Quarter in New York Sports

Leonard Marshall The 5th Quarter in New York Sports on AM1240-WGBB, we were joined by former Jets tight end, current ESPN college football analyst, and Bucs pre and post game radio host Anthony Becht and two-time Giants Super Bowl Champion Leonard Marshall.

Becht discussed the whole Incognito/Martin story and his take on it.  He also talked about how it could have an effect on the Dolphins on the field and also what has gone wrong with the Bucs this season.  We also discussed Becht’s time with the Jets and if this team will make the playoffs this season.

Two-time Super Bowl Champion and three-time Pro Bowler Leonard Marshall came on to talk about the CTE issues with former NFL players like himself.  It was really heartbreaking to hear what players like himself are dealing with and how poorly the NFL has handled it.  Marshall also discussed the current Giants, Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick, and his side of the Incognito/Martin story.

Check out theusof.com and get “The United States of Football” documentary highlighting CTE and the brain issues former NFL players are currently dealing with.
