I hosted this edition of The 5th Quarter in New York Sports on AM1240 solo. I started with Knicks talk and their recent 4-game losing streak and what they need to do to turn it around. I recapped their win over the Sixers as it ended during the show. I then talked about the Nets and their recent success and their chance at winning the Atlantic Division. To end the first half of the show I analyzed the NBA trade deadline deals and who won and lost at the deadline. In the second half of the show we finished up NBA talk and moved on to baseball. I talked about Curtis Granderson going down with injury and who will replace him and how the Yankees will fair this season. I then talked Mets and the chance of Zach Wheeler coming up to Queens this season as well as the Mets outfield and their chances in 2013. I finished the show talking Jets and the possibility of whether they should trade Darrelle Revis or not and who they should get in return for him.
