Leo F. Giblyn Elementary Reopens Following Sandy

After being closed for a month from damage due to Hurricane Sandy, Leo F. Giblyn Elementary School in Freeport finally opened its doors on Monday, December 10th.  It took a lot of hard work and resiliency, but the faculty is glad to be back home after being displaced to different schools throughout the town.  Just four days following their reopening, the tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary happened in Newtown, CT.  The staff at Leo F. Giblyn was left heartbroken and are making sure that their students are safe.
